AWARDS: AWARD OF EXCELLENCE AIP-19: Every year
The Drawing Studio has submitted
      an entry for ASAI's Architecture In Perspective Competition we
      have received an Award of Excellence. This year was no different.
      The illustration '200 West 26th Street Condominium' has
      been chosen from a field of over 450 entrants by the Board of
      Directors and the 2004's distinguished jury, for an Award
      of Excellence and inclusion in ASAI's 19th anual exhibition.
      It is important to note that the images we submit are what was
      produced for our clients and not enhanced, or selected by us
      because of the Architecture depicted. Last year, 'West Point
      Library' was chosen for AIP-18.
PUBLICATION: LIFE MAGAZINE: The Drawing Studio
      was nominated for Life Magazine's 2000 Alfred Eisenstaedt
 
Award for Magazine Imagery for the illustration Philip
      Johnson House Revisited, completed for the Summer 1999 issue
      of Nest Magazaine.
PUBLICATION: The Drawing Studio was selected by The
      Art of Architectural Illustration III, edited by Gordon
      Grice and published by Rockport Publishers for pages 38 to 43.
ONLINE PUBLICATION: The French Online Magazine VOCANSON

APPOINTMENT:
      PRESIDENT NYSR: Nicholas Buccalo, Principal, was elected  

  
 
 resident of the New York Society of Renderers, Inc.
      (www.nysr.com) for the term
      2002 to 2006. Mr. Buccalo hopes to strengthen the NYSR's public
      awareness and serve to promote its members equally. Currently
      he has initiated several programs for the NYSR with the help  of members and other officers, which include: Student Membership;
      Sponsorship; Credit Awareness Program; NYSR Portfolio Donation
      Program to Libraries; New NYSR Website; New Member's Area; Incorporation  (Not-For-Profit); New 'Equipment Tent' for members; Marketing Campaign; 'Noted Illustrator' Campaign; Welcoming of New Members; and, our New NYSR Newsletters.
EXHIBITION-JARA:
      The Drawing Studio has been selected to exhibit in the JARA Exhibition 2000 opening on July 27 to August 2nd in Tokyo, Japan; September 2nd to 8th in Nagoya, Japan; and, September
10th to 16th in Osaka, Japan.
